There are a few different ways to participate in a USU NIDHC GHE Training Course, below are the various offerings and options.  Following this page, there are course specific pages that describe the details and learning levels of each of the offered GHE Training courses from USU NIDHC.

  • I am a current/future GHE planner, participant, or practitioner and I would like to take a GHE Training course:
    • If you are looking to take a GHE Training course for yourself or with a few members from your team/unit/mission, please take a look at the USU NIDHC GHE Training homepage to identify which level of training your would like (101, 201, 301, etc.) based on your mission requirements.
    • After you have identified which course to take, navigate to the corresponding course page and locate the iteration you would like to attend and register!
  • I am a GHE team lead, planner, or am in a Leadership position for engaging with GHE missions at my base, CCMD, unit, etc. and I would like a GHE Training course for my entire team members:
    • If you have a team or group that you would like trained to participate in or plan GHE missions, please connect with the USU NIDHC Training & Education team at nidhc-education@usuhs.edu.
    • USU NIDHC offers Mobile Training Team (MTT) opportunities for CCMDs/mission/etc. at the request of Leadership from the corresponding requesting entity.
      • Requirements for Requesting/Hosting a MTT GHE Training course:
        • Requestor must identify and confirm a location for the GHE Training Course (classroom, mess hall, conference room, etc.).  This must have a projector and a way to connect a laptop for staff to present course material.
        • Requestor must be able to confirm a minimum of 25 participants in the MTT GHE Training course.
        • Requestor will be asked to fund one (1) Active Duty Instructor from NIDHC to travel for the GHE Training course.
          • USU NIDHC will fund all other instructors required internal to the institute.
        • There is no cost for requesting or running USU NIDHC GHE Training course outside of the course space/location and the instructor travel.
    • USU NIDHC offers our 201: Fundamentals of DoW GHE and 301: GHE Operations Course as MTT opportunities; if there is something similar or tailored that you would like to request please feel welcome to reach out to the USU NIDHC Training & Education team, we are able to create unique course iterations.
  • I am a current/future GHE planner, participant, or practitioner and I heard about a Mobile Training Team (MTT) GHE Training Course occurring at my location and I would like to participate in this course:
    • Please reach out to the USU NIDHC Training & Education team at nidhc-education@usuhs.edu and we will connect you with the course information specific to the MTT GHE Training course planned for your location.
